Hope you’re all having a lovely break between Christmas and New Year. The perfect time to sit back and reflect on the past year – it’s been super busy so to summarise I’ve decided to do a special post recapping the best of each month.

Looking Back at 2016
January
Technically speaking this post is actually from one year ago today – but it remains a favourite especially as the topic of stripes remains hot on the trend list.

Mode Suisse – always great fun comparing young Swiss Fashion talent to that which is happening in Milan and Paris.

Philosophy – one of my favourite labels. It was great to find it available in Zurich especially after having seen the show in Milan – see here!

Bad Taste Day Survival – we all have those days don’t we. Such a fun post to write and confess to!

30-40 Blogger Meet – this was one of the greatest blog events I went to this year. A huge thank you to Catherine from Not Dressed as Lamb, and all the other wonderful bloggers I met and still stay in touch with!

Paris is one of my favourite cities so “Paris – Secret Discoveries” has to feature as one of this years highlights.

How to dress for Success – essential tips, especially if working in a corporate environment or trying to start up your own business.

Top Trend – Slip dress inspiration. This slip dress trend has only just begun so if you don’t own one yet my prognosis would be at least 70% of you will by this time next year!

Milan Fashion Week – feels like home each time I go back to Milan. Can’t wait for the next Fashion week in February!

Converting Spring Favourites into Fall Must Haves – always a good trick for extending a wardrobe!

I love discovering brands so working with Winser London this year was awesome!

The great friends made this year through the blog and old ones I’ve been able to catch up with a little more which has certainly made this a very special year. I’ll be doing more shopping trips in 2017 so if you too are interested in joining simply send me an email to yvonne@funkyforty.com.
