Hi Everyone,
Honestly said Fall has got to be my all time favourite season when it comes to putting together outfits. It’s cold enough to add the interesting touch of layering. However still not so cold that you have to walk around with your coat closed, hiding the rest of your outfit.
It’s simply so easy to team chunky knits, coats and slim trousers. An effortless combination that really does look great on most people.
If you don’t already own a pair I’d like to add that now really is the time to invest in a stylish but comfy pair of suede pants. Be sure to try them on live though. There are so many different cuts out there you need to make sure you get the right cut for you. They won’t be cheap but will certainly be worth the investment. Mine are from La Tienda, one of my favourite shops.

Camel tones worn with jeans
Note you can wear this sweater either tucked out or popped into the front of your jeans a little to show off the high waist.

2. Teaming navy and grey
When I tried this coat I just never wanted to take it off. Super light and warm in one. I absolutely adore the huge split in the back giving it a lovely feminine touch.
What more can I say other than a long navy coat is quite simply a wardrobe essential. Something that never dates and will add that chic note to any outfit. It also looks great worn with dresses and skirts.

3. Replacing the coat with a sleeveless puffer vest.
I’ve had a sleeveless puffer vest sitting in my wardrobe not doing too much for a few years now. This Fall however it has once again become a wardrobe staple. So much so that I have probably already worn it more often this year than I ever did before.

4. Going for green
My Goddaughter asked me this week what my favourite colour was. The answer was that it depended what for. However it did make me realise that when it comes to clothing green is my current utmost favourite colour.
You simply can’t beat it. I love almost every shade of green clothing so it pops up often this Fall.
Along with a sleeveless puffer jacket, the puffer jacket itself is also top on the hot list for this Fall. They simply are brilliant for both country and city wear.

5. Adding a touch of pink
I love adding a touch of pink to most things in Fall. The true colour of this cashmere sweater is a bright pink – see here.
We photographed in the late afternoon with that wonderful Fall light. As nice as it is, it did make this pink look different. Interestingly enough though the camel tones are real.
