Hi Everyone,
Have you ever wanted a truly special outfit? You can picture it in your mind but simply don’t know where you could ever find something like that? It was whilst on a quest for something truly original that I was recently introduced to Conny, the creative power behind Conny’s Couture.
Conny has a wonderful atelier in the heart of canton St Gallen with a pretty view over Lake Constance. From Zurich the trip alone is a picturesque adventure to be recommended.
The top and skirt above are two of her designs. I love the special St Gallen embroidery detail down the side of the skirt.

Connys Couture – My Latest Swiss Couture Discovery
Introduction – Meet Conny:
Connyβs career as a seamstress started with her apprenticeship right after school. Only after finishing this she decided to follow a career path in another direction.
Years later towards the end of 2019 whilst on sabbatical in Australia she realised that fashion needed to become a central part of her life once more.
Back in St Gallen, Switzerland she then bought a sewing machine and began creating beautiful garments again.
Sustainability is at the heart of her fashion β Conny herself hasnβt bought a single piece of clothing for 4 years now, she proudly told me. Quite rightly so!
Almost all garments are made to order by Conny herself. There are a few pieces available on her webshop www.connys-couture.ch. However Connyβs specialty lies in creating wonderful couture pieces of clothing which her clients are dreaming of.
Best quality Swiss fabrics are used wherever possible.
How I wear my skirt and top ensemble during the changing Spring season:
On colder days I like to protect from the wind with either a denim or leather jacket. Leather is one of the top trends this Spring and so I have once again hauled out my red leather jacket from the depths of the wardrobe.
Wearing long gloves with long sleeves that have been pushed back is a fun feature I noticed on the streets the last Milan and Paris fashion weeks. A new trend I’ve decided to incorporate into my outfits too this season.
Confession – it was a hot day as we did this photo shoot, hence the cardigan being worn off the shoulder. The look also works with the cardigan worn properly of course.
Love the button details on the back of this blouse. These are the details which Conny’s pieces are known for.
On warmer days worn alone, I just like to make sure the shoes and bag will help to make the whole outfit pop. Red accessories are always a useful thing to have in your wardrobe.
