Looking back at pictures of the Philosopy Show in Milan the one thing that strikes is how pretty each outfit was. Lace playing a big part in setting the overall scene – verging on gothic with high neck lines. Long floaty , extremely feminine dresses with see-through fabrics making gothic go stylishly sexy. Note the sleeve detail, lovely here with lace and black bow. The black bow being another hot theme this fall – used on shirts, sleeves or as a belt – hope you have yours ready in your wardrobe!
It looks like Fall 2016 is about two extremes – either the high neckline or totally off shoulder (might be a little chilly on a cold day – smile).
Hope you haven’t thrown your fishnet stockings out yet – they are hotter than ever this fall, as are black tights with tiny dots…goodness I would have had to save mine from the 80’s…think it’s time to buy new ones…
Frills are a theme spotted throughout the shows in Milan – love this dress with frill bottom…
This one reminded me a little of Moschinos Car Show for Spring Summer – it is cute though!
Love the silky fabrics that came out…the style def seems to be a revamp of late 80’s early 90’s.
Those boots…didn’t we all once have a pair just like them.
Leather trousers featured somewhat too – note however the move away from skin tight to the more comfy/ pleated look. Great look combined with pretty frill top.
Awesome show – thanks Philosophy!
Stay tuned for more Fashion Week News to come – off to Paris tomorrow!
Wishing you all a Super Saturday!
