Truth be told I love to wear yellow any Autumn or Winter. In Autumn it makes me feel like I’ve dressed to match the lovely Autumn leaves and in Winter it gives a break from black.
Having said this each season has special trend notes. It’s always good to adapt your yellow pieces to reflect the current trend.
Todays outfit was found in a lovely concept store I recently discovered in Seefeld, Zurich – Golden Carrot. I love the fact that if you go on their website they say that they serve great coffee. It is true. Every time I visit it doesn’t take long until the most wonderful cup of piping hot coffee is placed in front of me!

How to Wear Yellow this Winter
Two hot trends this season are cord or velvet and long wide pants… I really did fall in love with these as soon as I saw them hanging in the store.
A secret passion of mine is to always combine yellow with yellow. Somehow I always feel that if I am going to wear this beautiful colour I really want to make a statement with it.
Hence yellow sweater and handbag…
Animal print is another hot trend and yellow looks ever so cute when teamed up with these snakeskin look boots…
To add a little fun to this outfit I teamed it up with these cute necklaces…
I felt this coat was the perfect finishing touch as it ties back to the light colour on the bottom of the sweater.
