Spring has finally come to visit us with temperatures even scheduled to reach 20° next weekend! Wonderful, perfect for getting out that little white dress and really getting into Spring mood. The tricky thing at this time of year though is that despite warmer temperatures there is often still a little chill in the air. Don’t let that stop you from wearing your little white dress though!

What to Wear with Your Little White Dress Now
Over the knee boots are perfect for this time of year. They enable us (yes even those of us over 40), to wear shorter dresses and still look great. Potentially wrinkled knees are hidden and no one will register the lack of tan either.
Go for a pair of stretch slimline boots to make your legs look slimmer – always great teamed up with any shorter dress or skirt!

Another favourite staple for early Spring is a short leather jacket. Love going for red to really get the black out of a Spring look. Plus red and white always team up fabulously.

If over the knee boots are not your thing – why not simply team your little white dress with a pair of black skinny jeans.
This is such an easy outfit and teaming it up with black booties will put added length into your legs…

Dear Yvonne. Great tips as always. I had to smile a bit when I read about 40+ women and wearing short dresses. I am over 40 and love wearing short dresses, even though I read again and again that it may be wiser over 40 not to do so anymore…I make sure they are long enough for the classroom and as long as my own teenagers keep giving me compliments I think I am still on the safe side! I am sure you can wear this pretty dress without over the knee boots too. You look very youthful and have an amazing figure! Love, Lieske
