Hi Everyone,
One of my favourite things to do after Fashion Week, is to go through all my photos and spot the trends that really stick out…
The overriding theme I see is fashionistas going for timeless classics rather than reinventing new fashion themes. Classics are truly dominating the streets with an emphasis on high quality basics rather than throwaway pieces. There is definitely a movement towards buying less and thinking more long term wardrobe goals.
At the same time we see people going all out when it comes to festive season outfits. both gold and silver are certainly top of the list. It seems to be that a piece of metallic something is a must have in every wardrobe, to get through this 2023/24 festive season.
We see the return of the skirt suit, long pencil skirts and plenty of stretch tube or simply knitted dresses. Leather, waistcoats and white boots were certainly three of the top fashionista favourites in Paris this last Fashion Week.

Leather/faux leather jackets
Not just any leather/faux leather jacket though. It’s time to wear one with a difference. Something that is beautifully made and can easily be teamed up with the rest of your wardrobe.

2. The skirt suit
The skirt suit has made a real comeback this season – also for longer skirts.

3. The long tube or knit dress
These can be found in a number to different variations from short to long, cotton to wool. A great comfortable way to stay warm and stylish this Fall/Winter.

4. Red Sweaters
Red sweaters teamed with jeans, an oversized black blazer , black loafers and red socks are a great look for Fall/Winter 2023.

5. The leather/faux leather dress
Leather dresses were already popular last Fall/Winter and are proving to remain a staple goto item amongst Parisian fashionistas.

6. The gold dress
A little god dress will see you perfectly dressed for any date night in Fall/Winter 2023.

7. White knee-high boots
I still remember a few seasons back when it seemed as though the whole world was wearing white knee high boots. At the time I thought it would be a short lived fad, but here they are back with vengeance.
A few white boots available online here.
8. The midi length pencil skirt
This is something I would call a relatively new trend as we’re mostly used to knee length or shorter pencil skirts. There is however something very sophisticated and special about the midi length pencil skirt. It looks particularly cute teamed with either a short waist coat or cropped sweater.
See here for a cute selection of midi pencil skirts available online here.
9. The fluffy winter white coat
To be fair, a winter white coat has become such a staple that it is really worth investing in one if you haven’t already. It doesn’t have to be fluffy. Choose the style that goes best with the rest of your wardrobe.

10. Cropped blazers with midi denim skirts
Whilst neither the cropped blazer nor midi denim skirt are new on the fashion scene, the concept of wearing them together is. Quite a fun mix, don’t you agree?

Wishing you all lots of fun with your Fall/Winter wardrobe… Do you have any special trends that you are newly adopting this season?
