5 times Green for Saint Patricks Day – Fashion Week Fall 2016!

Today – March 17th is Saint Patricks day! Legend says if you were green today you will become invisible and the leprechauns won’t be able to pinch you as they can’t see you!

That has got to be enough to inspire you to wear green today right – smile. Fortunately there were some fab green outfits spotted on the runways during the Fall 2016 Fashion weeks and we have picked out 5 favourites to inspire your looks today:

1. Junko Shimada

Despite her Japanese heritage this season Junko went all out with their Scottish theme which of course included a touch of green tartan!

2. Agnes B

There was quite some green shown at Agnes B this season but the simplicity of this shift dress and matching coat seems fitting for Saint Patricks day. Matching coats and dresses being a theme spotted throughout Fall 2016 Fashion Week!

3. & 4. Carlos Gil

A Portugese designer – the show was not on the official show list for Milan so it was quite a nice discovery – we’ll be posting more about Carlos Gil soon. As far as green goes we fell in love with this green coat – contemporary simplicity yet making a statement at the same time!

Then there is the green shirt with flamboyant bow tie – a feature essential for next Fall wardrobe – probably a good idea to include this feature for Spring already. Note the sheer fabric also going in line with a common theme this season!

5. Mario Dice

Nothing like ending with a certain “WOW” factor and Mario Dice certainly had plenty of that in his Fall 2016 Show. Note the fabulous flowing effect of this opulent skirt made with the most delicate of fabrics – the only word coming to mind as you encounter this has got to be “wow”!DSC_0100_Fotor

Wishing you all a Super Saint Patricks day – please do wear something green – hate to think you might get pinched by a leprechaun.
