Paris Fashion Week SS 2024 – 30 Street Style Highlights Part 2

Hi Everyone,

… and just like that Paris Fashion Week starts coming to an end for another season.

The colourful outfits kept coming throughout the week. Thanks to the fabulous weather we saw a wonderful array of trans-seasonal outfits ranging from teddy coats right through to skimpy bralettes.

Trend summary:

Bralettes are a definite must have. If you don’t want to reveal your midriff simply style your bralette over a skinny sweater or white shirt.

Some super high platform heels seen on the streets. I believe you could almost classify them as stilts – smile! They do look good but for sure I’ll be staying clear of these for fear of breaking ankles.

It does seem like the white knee high boot is a hot item once again this season. Mary Jane heels are also needed in the wardrobe this season. When you buy them be careful about where on your foot the little strap is. Different places suit different people.

Metallics were featuring large on the streets in Paris this week. Both gold and silver tones. Clothing, bags and even metallic sneakers.

When it comes to jewellery a mixture of minimalistic bold statement jewellery or lots of smaller peaces worn to liven up an outfit were seen. So take your pick and do what you like best.

For some reason each day in Paris there did seem to be an obsession with yellow and orange – definitely the colours of the season. Both look particularly great teamed with grey tones.

It would be fair to say there was no one particular “IT” bag spotted on the streets in Paris this season. Once again this coming season is the perfect time to buy your favourite new and not overly discovered designer bag. My current favourite designer is Masha Keja – especially her embroidered collection that’s inspired from a piece of embroidery dating back to Marie Antoinette’s time – possibly even belonging to her.
