Winter is Coming – My 5 Favourite Sweaters for 2022!

Winter is coming – that is for certain. This Winter though I have decided to let it be cosy. Usually I’m a great one for avoiding sweaters wherever possible – replacing them with blazers under coats. However this year my wardrobe is taking on a whole new slant and I’ve opted to give it a wonderful sweater overhaul. I know of many office workers doing  the same. A direct result of heating being turned down throughout work spaces (at least here in Switzerland).

Winter is Coming – My 5 Favourite Sweaters for 2022!

1. The cable knit

Cable knit sweaters are one of the hottest items for Winter 2022. You’re going to spot many of them throughout the high street stores. This oversized caramel/brown is one I’ve personally fallen in love with.

Will be wearing it with leather pants, jeans and straight maxi skirts.

2. The V neck sweater

Confession – I photographed these in France and didn’t have a collared shirt with me otherwise I would have been tempted to show this sweater teamed with a collar.

In hindsight though it’s also easy and cosy worn with a simple t-shirt instead. Add a chunky scarf and no one would know the difference anyway – smile.

 

I love the fact that this sweater has fitted arms but the rest is lovely and floaty.

3. The shorter crew neck sweater

Shorter crew neck sweaters in general are a very hot trend for Winter 2022. Often worn with white shirts showing underneath. This one is not that short but short enough to team up nicely with a pair of wide legged suede trousers…

4. The turtle neck sweater

I’ve shown you this sweater before – absolutely love wearing turtle neck sweaters over slip dresses or slip skirts.

5. Super soft shorter at front longer at back sweater

This sweater is so soft that every time I put it on I simply never want to take it off.

You can probably tell I have a real thing about green and orange this Winter – smile.
