Hi Everyone,
Welcome to the first Tuesday of the month – Linkup time. Please tell me I’m not alone as I find myself clinging on to the remaining warmish days and Summer clothing! This months Linkup is the perfect solution.
This month the topic is how to transition your Summer Skirt for Fall . 9 ladies showcase their version of wearing a Summer skirt in Fall in their ageless style. It’s always exciting to see what each of them come up with. We never share photos beforehand so it’s a complete surprise to us all. I love the fact that we all come up with something so different and end up inspiring each other in new fashion directions.
The linkup is at the end of this post so make sure you stay tuned 😉
Transitioning Your Summer Skirt for Fall
If this skirt looks familiar to you it’s because it’s the same one worn in last months linkup. So see here if you’re interested in the Summer styling version.
Having picked up the skirt on Summer vacation in Sicily it simply has too many nice memories to put aside already.
Fortunately this super cute sweatshirt came in the mail from Zabaione. a German label. Perfectly cosy for slightly cooler days. Don’t you just love the ribbon detail. It’s one of this seasons new trends so if you like it time to add it to your wardrobe as it’s sure to stay a few seasons.
Adding black boots to any Summer skirt also works wonders for extra warmth and still keeping style. These are vintage boots from L.K.Bennett, similar here…

All I can say, Yvonne, is absolutely fabulous! I think I have a similar skirt, so I am going to be copying this look soon! Although I do not have an amazing lace up sweater like that. But perhaps I should get one and then create my version of this look! I love, love, love it!
