First weekend in December and the countdown is on for Christmas and New Years Eve. It’s the first year since the pandemic that many of us can once again bring out our party best. So let’s have a look at the top trends for the 2022 Festive season.
Interestingly a lot of today’s trends revolve around black. In fact todays article only shows black outfits. Note though silver and other metallic colours are also quite a hype for 2022.
Do remember when wearing all black you will maximise the impact by having some bare skin showing somewhere. If you decide to go for black stockings as well, go for a very sheer pair. All black with black opaque black tights only works for a super mini skirt or dress.
I used to always team black with bright red lips but have noticed this year is definitely about the softer pale lip colours. The looks here are all inspired from Paris and Milan street style and all photos have been taken by me.

Corsets are a truly hot feature this season. Not only worn under or by themselves as here. Try wearing them over a tight sweater or even over a coat for added shape.

Bling is always good for a festive season but I do love this subtle touch along the edges of the mini slip dress worn over a skinny knit.
