Summer 2023 Maxi Dress Haul

Summer is in the city for sure – it’s a super hot one this year. Surprisingly though is that I’ve really noticed that despite the heat – or is it because of the heat – the trend on the street has been moving more towards maxi dresses once again. In a way it makes sense as let’s face it, when the heat is really on the legs swell and it’s so much nicer to simply cover them up…

With my Summer vacation just around the corner I decided it was time to snoop around Zurich and look for some suitable maxi Summer vacation dresses.

This is when I had an extra long look inside ANNEX and saw there is so much more to the shop than I ever first realised. Each of the dresses in today’s post are available in ANNEX.

OMG – can you remember Holly Hobbie from the ’70’s? We all loved her back then.

 

3. When Geometrics rule the day

I truly love this dress. It is so easy to fold up into a suitcase without having to worry about creasing. Simply pop on and look dressed up in seconds!

 

4. Making a Wow statment

This dress will truly take you everywhere and once again is one of those easy to pack with absolutely no creasing pieces – don’t you just love them – smile!

ANNEX is a pretty shop just off Bahnhofstr Zurich, close to the famous Italian restaurant Cantinetta Antinori. Marina Kunz took over ANNEX in 2005 and under her motto that true femininity never goes out of fashion, created her own, new ANNEX collections.

Talking to her however, Marina refuses to take all the credit for the stores success. She says that in reality they are a close-knit team of women. Each piece in the shop is handmade with love by women supporting women. At least 80% of production is done in Switzerland, Italy and Eastern Europe.
