My Favourite Faux Fur Jacket Styling Tips

Hi Everyone,

A faux fur jacket has made it’s way this season to basically becoming a wardrobe staple. Just like the leather and denim jacket. Unlike the leather or denim jacket though, getting the whole look right with your faux fur jacket requires a little more thought.

As an example teaming your faux fur jacket with wide legged trousers may end up making you look like one giant teddy bear – not really a look anyone wants to portray – smile!

My Favourite Faux Fur Jacket Styling Tips

Number 1

My favourite tip is to team faux fur with animal print. Somehow the two are really meant to be together.

Number 2

Team with flimsy fabrics or pleated skirts. Either will work and are a lovely contrast to the bulkiness of the faux fur jacket.

Number 3

Have fun with your faux fur. It is not real fur and not meant to be worn too seriously. Team it up with something fun – my current favourite being this cute Kooreloo bag, found online at www.rejanerosenberger.com

Number 4

If you do team your faux fur with trousers stick to slim legged cuts to keep the proportions of the overall look right.
