Can you imagine – whilst working in the corporate world I literally wore 10cm heels practically each day. It seemed necessary in order to remotely reach the height of most men in the office. The only reason I survived was because of the large amount of sitting time during the day! Does this sound like a familiar scenario to you?

Well look no further, 27 year old Christof Baum has created the perfect solution for all of us with a passion for heels.

It all started one evening when Christof saw his sister walking barefoot after a great party night, carrying her heels rather than wearing them. He then had a discussion with his Father, an orthopaedic doctor. Resulting in the two of them creating a special shoe sole for heels which would reduce the pain.

In 2016 Christof Braun founded the company “Maison Baum” together with Sophie Trehort who has 25 years of Paris fashion experience. Swiss technology coupled with French style at it’s best!

What makes the shoe so special:

The special shoe sole has ben created to:

• Reduce the burden on the ball of the foot by 50%
• Reduce back burden by 25%
• A stabilisation platform in the middle of the sole
• Orthopedic elements to support pressure points, resulting in much more comfort.
• Cushioned heel area to optimise support.
• Shock absorbant heel.
• Rubber in the sole – also helping stability.
