Hi Everyone,
What a fun show Max Mara put on for Spring/Summer Milan 2024 Fashion Week. As always there was plenty of the Max Mara classic caramel on display but the outfits themselves appeared somewhat more edgy than usual.
An abundance of short shorts, some fabulously vibrant colours, plenty of knits and a re-invention of the big bag. By the way in case you haven’t heard yet, big bags are now the hot item. This coming Spring it’s finally time to ditch those mini bags right to the very back of your wardrobe.
That casual lounge trend for the streets that was hot during Covid days is now well and truly out the window. The way forward into next Spring/Summer is all about looking classy, well tailored, preferably with a “matchy matchy” edge to each outfit.
For all those crazy pattern lovers out there, I’m afraid now is the time to tone down somewhat. Stick to a max of one pattern at a time. Preferably sticking to plain fabrics where possible. This coming Spring/Summer the fashion world is trying to tell us all it’s time to invest in good quality timeless pieces. Forget the cheap and one season only options.
Enough of an introduction. Now time for you to discover “10 Top Spring/Summer 2024 Trends Spotted on the Max Mara Runway”

Finally Max Mara lowered their hemline. I hope Sportmax and Weekend Max Mara will do the same. Their dresses were always 5 inches too short for me.
Greetje
Excellent picks, Yvonne. They all look lovely, My personal favorites are jumpsuits and knitted wear.
