Visiting St Moritz last week I decided to spend the night at Cresta Palace Hotel – a mere 4 minutes drive or 8 minutes train ride from the centre of St Moritz.
Cresta Palace Hotel is truly a place to fall in love with. A family run hotel with the cutest children kitchen attached to the breakfast buffet. Amazingly helpful staff that treat you more like an old friend than simply hotel guest.
A 2 minute walk from the hotel brings you right to the nearest ski lift and in winter all guests get daily ski passes at a discounted rate of CHF 45 per person.
This year Cresta Palace Hotel renovated 40 of its rooms in a beautiful Art Nouveau style. Be sure to ask for one of these rooms should you book a stay.
Truly unique is the fact that there’s something special happening all year round at Cresta Palace Hotel. December it’s about Christmas. In January there’s a special Asian cooking course, the bobsleigh and skeleton World championship. What I ate as a main, delicious lamb cutlets…note though desert is certainly not to be missed with the best ever tiramisu on the menu.
Room Inspiration
The new art nouveau rooms have been renovated to perfection with super high quality, comfy beds. A selection of pillows to meet every preference, curtains that look aesthetic and keep the light out plus more to make your stay fabulous such as the Nespresso coffee machine.

Bathrooms with pretty tile details and high quality Swiss Soeder amenities.
