Hi Everyone,
Let’s face it, when it comes to Winter it truly is the beautiful ski resorts such as St Moritz that know how to dress right. So it stands to reason that St Moritz would be ahead of the rest of us in knowing just what the big Winter trends for 2023 will be.
This week I visited my dear friends at Lamm Cashmere House in the heart of St Moritz to find out the latest trends first hand.
Before I get going I love to share a fun fact: My friends and I were talking about all the famous people that come to St Moritz. They casually tell me that amongst others the Gucci family shop at Lamm Cashmere House whenever they visit. I now begin see where the expert fashion tips stem from after all – smile.

The Baseball Cap
This year and into 2023 you’ll see all true fashionistas wearing baseball caps rather than beanies. Personally I am super pleased as they give a much more polished look to any Winter outfit.
The baseball cap I’m wearing in this post is made out of cashmere and available online in several colours here.
2. Red Turtle Neck Sweater
Colour is a big theme that continues into 2023. Red being one of the best for Winter. It will brighten every day and certainly pops out in the snow or on dull grey days.
The sweater I am wearing is high quality cashmere exclusively made for Cashmere Lamm and available online here.
A selection of sweaters that come in red at various price points available online here.
3. Fringes and Stoles
2023 says good by to small scarves and hello to the lovely large stoles with fringes. The brighter the colour the better. It’s time to have fun according to the Winter fashionistas in St Moritz.
Cashmere stole I am wearing is available in a number of colours – also neutral tones for those of you who prefer – online here.
4. Long Micro Down Coats
Gone are the days of short puffer jackets, unless skiing of course. 2023 is all about keeping as warm as possible including warm legs.
Micro down or puffer coats have been making headlines since last Winter already and the fashion experts are telling us this is a trend that will continue. The great thing is just how micro down coats have evolved recently. They no longer have to make us look like Michelin men. The new micro down coats are slim-line, very light yet manage to keep us even warmer than their bulky predecessors.
The one I am wearing is from an Austrian label Schneiders and available online here.
5. Cashmere Joggers
As a rule of thumb 2023 is all about being dressed well. Yet at the same time the desire for comfort has not been forgotten. It’s simply a matter of replacing sloppy jogging pants with sophisticate cashmere joggers.
This is one trend I’ve personally come to love. Cashmere joggers also look great teamed with long velvet or cord blazers.

6. Finger Free Mittens
The cutest hype of 2023 if you ask me… The ones I a wearing also come with either hearts or stars on them.
