Hi Everyone,
Don’t you just love it when you discover a real hidden secret in your very own home town/city. That’s exactly what happened to me last Friday as I was invited to stay in the fabulous new spa suite at the Sorell Hotel Rigiblick Zürich.
I went with my dear friend Brenda. We had a great time, catching up, laughing and creating far too many bubbles in the tub… However I literally can’t tell you how many times we kept on saying to each other that actually this was the perfect romantic hideaway and we should be there with our hubby’s… Who knows maybe one day they will be lucky enough to be invited by us – smile!
The top picture shows the outside of Sorell Hotel Rigiblick Zürich. Inside are two restaurants – one of which is a special gourmet restaurant – and a Theater. The front of the building has a wonderful view over Zurich and is super easy to get to from the centre of town via tram and then the Seilbahn Rigiblick
Enough of an introduction, time for a pictorial look into Zurich’s Most Romantic Spa Hideaway…

This suite has an open-plan bathroom with free-standing spa bath and a shower with different light settings.
Of course it’s the little things that matter when having a bath…
We especially loved the fact that the sauna had a huge window so you could see the rest of the room from inside.
You can literally see the lovely trees and bush outside from the sauna itself.

Back to details – we loved the Rituals products and the super groovy Geberit toilet with every luxury setting imaginable including a heated toilet seat. Panel of functions shown above.

We had dinner in the Bistro, see what we ate…
There is also a gourmet restaurant on the first floor with 17 Gault-Millau, Points and a fantastic view over Zurich.
Breakfast can be either ordered in the room or else had downstairs in the Bistro with a fabulous buffet of Swiss produce to choose from.
We had the most fantastic stay and even though we kept on thinking we should be there with our men, it was also the perfect way to spend a dreadfully dull Winter Friday in Zurich…
In our minds we would give this as a special present to our hubby’s, or recommend for a special evening such as Honeymoon, Anniversary etc… or simply as a way to recover from every day stress!
