Revisiting photos taken during Milan and Paris Spring/Summer 2023 fashion week proved to be somewhat interesting on the bag front.
I love the new green that’s popping up everywhere. It’s also refreshing to see a few older bags continuing to be top on the bag trend for 2023. A couple of new themes to be seen too – Prada has come out with a new “antique” collection. A replication of previous designs but in creased format. Then there is the new padded Napa Prada bag.
The Gucci Jackie bag was spotted substantially throughout Milan and Paris.
The Dior saddle bag seems to be going from strength to strength on the trend list. Certainly a great staple for anyone wanting to buy a bag as an investment. Remember a well kept designer bag will make a huge difference to any outfit!

The new green for 2023
Spotted outside Fendi but many other bag brands have come up with bags in the same colour this season.
Note also the new trend of the very micro bag worn as a necklace.
2. The Gucci Jackie bag
This is such an iconic bag. If you love designer bags then one of these Gucci Jackie bags probably should be in your wardrobe. I am still working on this – smile.
3. Prada re-edition 2005 nylon bag
Interesting that the Prada re-edition 2005 nylon bag continues to be hot on the trend list. Personally I am quite pleased as I own one – smile.
4. The Dior Saddle bag
The Dior saddle bag once again proves to be a good investment.
5. The Bottega Knott
The Bottega knot has definitely replaced the Cassette shoulder bag on the trend front.
6. The new Prada padded Nappa bag
Note the green popping up again. Plus padded bags in general are big on the hot bag list for 2023.
7. The new Prada Antique collection
An interesting take to create new bags that look antique. I am curious how long this trend will last.
8. Valentino pink
With hot pink trending so much this year, it’s no wonder the Valentino hot pink is also top on the trend list for 2023. Beware though the colour is so in demand it is hard to find on the market these days.
9. Boyy
Boyy being a relatively new bag brand on the market with a big future!
Started by a young couple in New York with offices in Milan and Bangkok. Their bags first became a hit on the markets in 2009.
10. Silver bags
I have been saying for some time now that silver bags are all the hype for 2023. This just reconfirms.
