Of course wearing the simple black or blue and white striped t-shirt and shorts always works however why not have a little fun with your stripes this Summer.
Wearing stripes this season is more about learning to break the rules and making a statement. Worn colourfully they can become one of the most feel good pieces in your wardrobe.

How to have fun with stripes this Summer
Recently discovering this super cute shirt dress in “Golden Carrot Shoes and More”. I decided to have a play and try out some new ways to style it.
You could simply wear it as a dress with sandals or over denim shorts with sneakers. But then these super cute and comfy striped trousers caught my eye…
Followed by these adorable striped slingback shoes. Deciding it’s not possible to have too many stripes in one outfit I simply teamed them all up together.
I love having fun with what I wear in Summer – the different colours really lift your spirits no matter how you might be feeling.
This outfit is one that really does make a statement because not many people would think of pulling it tougher like this.
The most important thing when compiling your striped outfit is that you feel good wearing it. So if you don’t feel comfortable wearing lots of stripes in one outfit don’t do it.
The trousers also look super cute teamed with a plain top. Stick to any of the colours in the trousers – try teaming them with orange or a blue oversized top, being sure to tuck the top in along one side to give the outfit a little shape.
You could also wear a simple white shirt with the trousers, tying a knot at the front. Complete the look with a pair fo white sneakers.
In any case one thing is certain – every wardrobe needs at least one striped piece in it this Summer!
