Who would ever have thought that hair accessories could come back into fashion with such a vengeance. They did seem to pop up everywhere during the last Fashion Weeks in February. However at the time I really thought this was only a fad that would pass quickly. Yet here I am with the most wonderful hair clip collection of my own… in fact I’ve even decided they make for a nice new look when combined with frills and heels. There’s something about this combination that makes me feel very girly all over again!

Hair Clips, Frills and Heels
OMG feeling so terribly serious and somehow not my usual self at all. But also feeling sophisticated and girly all over again…
The hair pulled back to look very serene, teamed with layered frilly skirt instantly adds a little softness to the overall look.
The heels are a necessity when pulling off this look. As much as I love sneakers there’s something that could go terribly wrong had I teamed them up here.
Lets talk hairlip reactions. I bought my first two in London earlier this year. Much to the horror of my Hubby who at the time thought they were the worst thing he had ever seen on the fashion front.
Surprisingly – worn again this weekend I get the response that he finds my clips to be a new look and an interesting change. What can I say other than some of us simply need to be eased into new things gently – haha!
