The 40 Best Street Style Looks from Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2024

Hi Everyone,

Day one Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2024 – some truly great outfits on the streets today.

For a start it has left me wanting to buy anything grey or cream that I can possibly get my hands on. So much so that I’m even beginning to wonder if grey might just be the new black for the current season. Not to worry for those of you who love black. There was still plenty of black to be seen on the streets as well.

Both tube and pleated skirts with special detail to them are definite wardrobe must haves. Fendi certainly has a very special one this season. I have seen variations of it already available in high street stores. My guess would be that this is a trend that will last more than just one season to come.

Black leather is a hot item this season – there’s plenty of it in the street style pictures that follow. Long elegant burgundy velvet dresses were a favourite outside the Alberta Ferretti show today.

When it comes to bags, unless you’re going for an oversized shopper it’s time to invest in small, (not mini) designs. Just big enough for essentials such as phone, wallet and glasses.

Two things I was expecting to see a lot of but didn’t were, Mary Jane shoes and long denim skirts. Of these I only saw one long denim skirt. However remember it is day one of Milan Fashion Week so they may come onto the streets later this week.
