Hi Everyone,
Paris Fashion Week is the last of a series for many having trawled New York, London, Milan and finally Paris. I ask myself if this is why the street style here at first glance would appear to be a simple sea of black and white. It would seem that if all else fails simply put together all black or all white outfits and you are set to finish Fashion Week in style!
So can we use Paris Fashion Week street style as an indication of the real fashion trends of the season? The answer is yes! For sure the emphasis is huge on elegance. A theme spotted throughout the 4 big Fashion Weeks this season. Red would seem to be the most accepted break away from either black or white. Double denim being a hot item. However note that even jeans are taking on an elegant tone. Gone are the days of ripped jeans. Hello to beautifully tailored wide legged jeans.
Plenty of boots to be seen plus loafers worn with socks. Platform heels are carrying through from our Summer, as are regular pumps which quite simply never date.
Some beautiful features spotted such as tops with matching coats. Amazing over the knee boots, statement jewellery and fluffy bags. However this season it’s difficult to say that one particular must have bag exists. It’s much more a case of choosing a unique bag of your own that is not seen too often on the streets!

wow thank you dear Yvonne for your blog as usual very interesting I really love to see all those different styles and want to go on and on looking at those different styles so exciting and for sure will be staying for quiet a while to come
Ever so well photographed Yvonne. Applause. I adore the striped tailored blazer on the very wide black trousers. Most of the other outfits are fun to see but way too far out of my comfort zone to like them.

Paris Fashion Week is one of my fav events to attend. I think the fashion is just superb and the collections are incredible. People on the street are the real show though. Love the classic coats so chic and timeless.
