How to Wear a Shorts Suit With Both Heels and Flats

Hi Everyone,

Am ever so pleased to say that shorts suits are a real item this Summer. I have often heard people worry about having too short legs to look good in a shorts suit. However truth be told, provided the shorts finish close to your knees it really doesn’t matter how short or tall you are a shorts suit can still look great!

One of the other great facts about a shorts suit is that it can, (also to the office), successfully be worn with either flats or heels. There is just one little secret tip that needs to be followed in order to get your look right.

I ordered my shorts suit online from Sumissura. It only took 10 days to arrive and I’m super pleased with the fit. More about Sumissura and the end of this article.

Keep reading to find out, “How to Wear a Shorts Suit With Both Heels and Flats”.

I’m sure by now you are dying to find out what that little secret tip is – smile.

The answer is easy. It’s all about focusing on the accessories. Or rather the rest of your outfit. Making sure that they somehow team up with your shoes.

Here I’ve purposefully teamed my black flat sandals with a black top, bag and belt. As a result the whole outfit looks well put together and ready for casual or office.

See how the same principle works for heels:

The heels are cream so I’ve changed to a cream top. Left the belt and bag black as they still tie in with each other.

About the suit:

I custom ordered this suit online from Sumissura. This is the second time I have had something custom made by them and each time I have been super happy at how well it is made, the perfect fit, how speedy it arrives and the fantastic eco friendly packaging.

To top it all off despite being fully lined and made out of a high quality linen, the total price of the shorts and blazer together was just over CHF 300.

This is a sponsored article but I am honestly super impressed with Sumissura and can only recommend it as a great way of buying the perfect suit for you at a very affordable price.
