Looking back at the Leonard Paris SS 2016 show I could really see something old – in their chiffon printed fabrics so typical for the label. Something new – the introduction of the softer pastel tones and new industrial type fabrics – a theme throughout Paris this season. Bold coming from the stark lines and Blue is of course a colour that ran throughout most of the show.
10 Favourite looks from the show:
Having started in 1958 I think Leonard can be praised for maintaining something old in their current collection – like staying true to their original principals.
The long sheer skirt seems to be a must-have for the coming Summer 2016.
Great sporty summer look – love the fact that they have used a model who obviously trains hard!
The introduction of industrial type fabrics seen throughout Paris Fashion Week – shoes almost seem to be made out of same fabric as outfit.
Tile anything remains hot – note white sneakers still to be worn with anything during summer.
The bomber type jacket also popular – note sandals with the slight roman lace theme.
Shoulder free seems to be seen more and more.
Matching tops and bottoms despite patterns continues to be a theme.
Futuristic shoulder free look.
My personal favourite – can imagine wearing this – especially with the matching shoes!
Wishing you all a fab day!
