We all know the importance of dressing to impress in the office. In fact it is a real “dada” of mine. The one quote that stays at the forefront of my mind when dressing for any meeting is: “Dress for the job you want not the one you have”. This is super important for women. Men have it easy as they climb into a suit and already look the part. We on the other hand have so much choice it’s ever so tempting to break out of suit mode. Yet there’s nothing like a suit to power your look!
This all, however does not mean you have to wear something uncomfortable.
Top Secret – Most comfortable Work Suit Ever!
Fashion houses around the globe are focusing ever more on comfort combined with style. Recently I found the most comfortable suit ever. Or better said it found me…
Running across the road to Fashion Hotel in Zurich – hoping no one saw my illegal turn in the aim of parking I was of course spotted by Daniela, an Instagram follower of mine. Murphy’s law – haha!
Despite being in the middle of dinner with friends, she ran after me. Daniela and her hubby Leonardo have the Swiss distribution for Ania Shierholt. She invited me to their showroom the following week where I simply fell in love with the collection! You can read Daniela’s version of the story here – smile!
This suit in particular is so comfy and suitable for all possible work situations.
Close the jacket and team up with heels to get an even more dressed up look. I even went to an official Bank apero in this and no one guessed it was simply stretch.
To make the look a little more trendy fun I like to team it up with a pair of trainers. Amazing how much impact a simple change in shoes can have on the entire outfit.
Have decided to knick name the outfit “my Lego pieces” as they simply go with everything. I’ve dressed the tulle skirt down here but you could go to the office wearing the suit and heels and then simply exchange pants for a fun tulle skirt for Friday evening party.
Ania Shierholt is available in stores globally, from Europe to Australia – see here
