I’ve got a thing about beautiful hotels with a story to tell and last week @bellevuepalace managed to truly capture my heart 💗

Situated right next to the Bundeshaus with a fantastic view over the Aare… did you know this hotel belongs to the people of Switzerland! Just after World War II the Bund had no money and the hotel was almost sold to the Russians. Then the Swiss National Bank stepped in and bought it. Selling it back to the Bund for CHF1!
