A magical world of writing instruments, leather goods and stationary unfolds before your very eyes as you enter the store.
Landolt-Arbenz began in 1882 when businessman Franz Landolt and his wife Elise Landolt-Arbenz opened the business along Zurich’s Bahnhofstrasse. At the time the business was a favourite for it’s exclusive writing materials and bookkeeping stationary. Bahnhofstrasse was very different from today. It was largely still a living area. Things began to change with the first horse tram came and electrification of the city towards the year 1900. The location proved to be amazing for the business and original building is still owned by the family.
5 generations later and the business is still family owned and run by Martina und Andreas Zimmerli-Landolt. The original passion with which the business started remains. Truly a secret tip for anyone remotely interested in beautiful writing instruments.
