This is a special article for anyone visiting Zurich or anyone living in Zurich. Often when you live in a city you get so stuck in your routine you forget, or don’t have the time to discover the new cool shopping places. It is super easy to miss obvious treasures if you haven’t been able to read about them first.

So here we go…

A simple must visit for anyone living in or visiting Zurich would have to be the Lindt Chocolate Factory. Be sure to book the tickets for the “Home of Chocolate tour” in advance. There are almost never same day tickets available. This truly is one of the best interactive tours you can possibly do in Zurich. Not to forget the fabulous chocolate tasting experience. On a sunny day you might like to take the boat from Bürkliplatz to Kilchberg. Alternatively for the active amongst you, there is always the possibility of getting a free bike rental and riding round the lake to the chocolate factory.

Once in Kilchberg it is also imperative to visit the beautiful clothing store New Collection. Nestled directly across the road from the Lindt Chocolate Factory, this boutique is seriously one of the nicest in the whole of Zurich. Further down I give you a preview of some lovely new pieces from the Spring/Summer 2024 collection.

Pascale (pictured above right), is the owner of New Collection and always has fantastic styling advice. The whole store is set up in such a way that you could almost wear everything with everything.

This is the most wonderful capsule wardrobe type clothing shop that I have ever seen and yet every piece is still very special in its own right. Beautiful European brands at very fair prices.
