Why Green is Currently the Hottest Jewellery Trend

Hi Everyone,

Sitting in Changi airport, Singapore as I write this. Feeling excited and anxious at the same time at finally making it back to Auckland, New Zealand after 2.5 years.

To all of you who also live far away from your family I soo feel with you. Not being able to go home to where you come from is something that affected me and many others I am sure, much more than we could ever have imagined. I really hope you have all managed to get home by now or will be able to very soon.

Even though I truly love living in Switzerland and all the opportunities that go along with it… The photos in this article are one example – as we took them in Burgundy last weekend.

Now lets talk jewellery:

Currently wearing a complete set from Natkina – I have written about her beautiful story before – see here. The set is made up of Silver and zirconia so whilst looking a million dollars the price is much more affordable – yay!

Why Green is Currently the Hottest Jewellery Trend

The best part of jewellery is the way it can transform any outfit into something that looks spectacular. The green emerald look-a-like pieces I’m wearing today certainly do that.

But, why is green so special right now?

The answer is easy – it is a sign of the times. So uncertain, pretty much post pandemic with other uncertainties looming large. Making it a time that many of us are using the little things to make the world a better place.

Green is a harmonising and balancing colour, it soothes and calms and brings out feelings of unconditional love, tenderness and forgiveness.  Sub-consciously it can be a signal to us to make a new start in life – a green light for Go!

For many people green coloured stones conjure up thoughts of nature, grassy fields and lush trees, making them feel refreshed, tranquil and cheerful.

These green earrings in particular made me feel very royal.
