In the 1980s and 1990s, Diana, Princess of Wales, made the coat dress fashionable once more. Wearing many of them designed by Catherine Walker.
Today, keeping up the tradition Megan, Duchess of Sussex once again makes the coat dress a must have! Only today we now call them blazer dresses! Not really one to follow Royal fashion trends, but this is one which is not to be missed!

The blazer dress has the advantage of suiting absolutely almost every body shape. It’s a great way of showing off a nice cleavage if you have one. Yet at the same time for those of us petite women it will instead accentuate the waist.
A white blazer dress can be used to replace your little black dress for a season. I found this one in Kookai in Sydney.
Also a very versatile outfit, easy to take from day to night. Wear to the office and then team up with a different bag for an instant eventing look.

Added bonus – once bored with the look you can simply turn your dress into a long blazer. A great look especially over a slightly shorter shift dress!

Blazer dresses are indeed very fashionable nowadays. Probably because these are so chic and fit all the figures nicely. You look great in yours, I have yet to check how Meghan looked like in hers.
