Hi Everyone,
Recently I had the pleasure of visiting Alexandra Lulay at her private atelier in Kreuzlingen. An experience that left a much bigger impression on me than I thought. Being shown layers and layers of wonderful unique pieces of jewellery. Each piece with a little story behind it, each piece made with a lot of love by Alexandra herself.
Today you find out the whole story about her and how she started and what to expect when you visit. Such an inspirational story. Once again the message is clear. If you are fortunate enough to be able to follow your passion the rest will flow along naturally.

When Passion Turns Into Jewellery: Inside the Alexandra Lulay’s Magical Atelier
Some people follow a career path. Others follow a calling. For Alexandra, it was always the latter. Art, design, and the quiet shimmer of gemstones have fascinated her since childhood, almost as if they were whispering her name. Becoming a goldsmith wasn’t just a profession; it was the perfect way to blend creativity with meticulous craftsmanship. And truly, there’s nothing quite like shaping beauty with your own hands.
She worked in renowned ateliers in Konstanz and Zurich for several years. However when life gifted her two wonderful sons she also gained the courage to take a leap many only dream of. Opening her own atelier, a space filled with light, tools, gemstones, and the gentle hum of inspiration. A place where family life and artistic passion coexist in perfect harmony.
What truly sets Alexandra apart is the jewellery itself. Each piece is handcrafted with intention, shaped slowly, thoughtfully, and always with an eye for elegance. Her designs carry a signature blend of subtle sophistication and emotional depth. The kind of jewellery that becomes part of your story rather than just an accessory.
Clients often arrive with a vague idea and leave with a piece that feels like it was always meant for them. No rush, no pressure. Alexandra works by appointment only, allowing each woman the luxury of time. Conversations flow, ideas evolve, and it’s not unusual for a visit to stretch into two delightful hours. That’s the magic of bespoke jewellery. It’s personal, intimate, and deeply rewarding.
In a world full of mass‑produced sparkle, Alexandra offers something rare: jewellery crafted with heart, shaped by hand, and inspired by the people who wear it. Pieces that don’t just decorate, but celebrate.
If you’ve ever dreamed of owning jewellery that feels uniquely you, her atelier might just be your new favourite place.
