Currently sitting in my hotel foyer in Milan feeling a little shell shocked after nearly being thrown off the train at the Italian border…
Anyone coming by train to Milan Fashion Week be sure to have your FFP2 mask ready! I only had a regular mask initially but luckily could buy a FFP2 mask at the train dining carriage. My day was saved and I could remain on the train all the way to Milan!
Now let’s talk about windy days. I can never decide which is worse, a rainy day or a truly windy day when the wind just seems to seep right through the body to my bones…
However this cold scenario is quite easy to fix with the right clothing. The most important piece to wear on a windy day being a stylish but absolutely windproof jacket/coat. There are also a few more tips and tricks.

What to Wear on a Windy Day!
Windy days were of course made for windproof jackets. Depending on the thickness of the coat however you may still need a sweater underneath to keep warm.
My tip for Spring 2022 is to go for colour. Colour is the most important theme which will run through the whole of this coming Spring and Summer.
A bright hoodie will make all the difference to any windy day outfit – either with hoodie worn over your head or simply showing outside the back of your coat.
Styling a more classic blue Spring coat…
Wearing a more classic blue Spring coat will call for a bit of fun to be added with a statement scarf. A great alternative for those of you who don’t like to wear hoodies…
The good news is that your brightly coloured hoodie will also work wonders under a more classic blue Spring coat…
