Hi Everyone,
Colour pops are featuring large in new Spring collections – see Mango, Zara, Topshop to name a few. There’s something so bright and cheerful about them there’s no wonder that we reach for them at the drop of a hat. Added benefit too is that you can already start wearing them in cooler temperatures, and pretend it’s Spring.
Last week I went out and daringly bought the brightest coloured sweatshirt ever. Feeling quite nervous about this new purchase I went home and then started playing around with how to wear it.
Trending Colour Pops Pre Spring’17
The first time wearing my new sweatshirt in town with my hubby…I knew I had to get him used to the new look piecemeal – smile. So I started by wearing it as a scarf and teaming it up with my little Rebecca Minkoff bag from Zalando.
A few photos in I could feel he was really warming up to the look so…under the pretence of getting cold I popped it on properly!
What do you think was the bigger shock? The lovely Addidas sweatshirt or the fact that I decided to climb into a closed shop window?
I think the poor man decided to give up at that point and simply concentrate on taking arty type photos.
I love the hood on it – perfect for when the wind begins to blow and I’ve forgotten to wear a hat – oops you’re not supposed to think of the practicality of fashion are you?
Anyhow to cut a long story short it’s Milan Fashion Week this week. I’m so excited and have decided this will be one of my looks!

This is so fun Yvonne and I love how you warmed up first by wearing it as a scarf. How creative. That Adidas sweatshirt is so cool and I can’t wait to see pics from when you head to Milan. I will definitely be trying colour pops this Spring too. Thanks for the heads up!
