Back in the city and ready to talk about this Summer’s hottest two piece trend. With home office predominating most of our lives these past months it’ll come to no surprise the we are not talking suits here.
This Summer is all about matching skirts and tops. Either worn so that they look like a dress. Or worn with a little midriff showing for added effect.
The days of pattern mixing are over. Now it’s time to wear plain fabrics with patterns or better still, wear matching tops and bottoms.
Today I’m wearing a little two piece from Karen Millen. An English label which I’ve been a fan of for some time now.

This Summer’s Hottest Two Piece Trend
The brocade pattern on both skirt and top feature huge too as a Summer 2021 ht trend.
I know I said you can wear the top and bottom with a little midriff showing and to be honest that is what this outfit is supposed to look like. However for the city I prefer a top that meets up with the skirt and hence deliberately ordered the top a few sizes bigger.
All the same I love how some back is still revealed…
I’m a huge fan of the puffy sleeves too…
Note my cute recycled sandals. I found them online at Atelier FH – a great online store for up cycled shoes which have been carefully cleaned and reinvented to look like new.
