We noticed the bulky boot trend flooding the streets during the last fashion week. So far though I’ve been limiting myself to wearing black militant chunky boots. That is until last week when this lovely pair of camel/mustard Ecco Tredtray boots found their way into my letterbox.
They seem to have become glued to my feet – almost can’t leave home without them. Funny enough they match with maxi skirts, jeans (as above), layered denim skirts (see latest reels on instagram) and I’m even planning on teaming them with a little blue silky dress of mine…

The Urban Edge Boots I Have Fallen in Love With
To begin with, despite looking chunky these Ecco Tredtray boots are incredibly lightweight. So much so that sometimes I forget I am wearing boots and think they are ballerinas – haha.
I love the fact that Ecco take extreme care about the individual materials they use. Leathers are from suppliers with the highest level of animal welfare, sourcing hides that are by-products of the meat industry.
Having done a little research I now understand just why the boots are so comfy for the feet – a special TrayTech technology is used. You can read more about this here.
Most importantly though I love the versatility of this boot. It is bulky yet elegant at the same time. Wanting to be worn in town, to the supermarket and into the woods all in one.
