The Summer Styling Tip That Doesn’t Date!

The Summer Styling Tip That Doesn't Date!

Hi Everyone,

Summer styling can get tedious. Often it’s simply too hot to really think of elaborate outfits. When thinking about what I should call this post I almost labelled it stress free Summer styling as this is also a super easy way to make your Summer outfit look good.

If you’ve read my post about Greece, you’ll already know this blue dress is one of my souvenirs. Enough of an introduction though, I’ll let you scroll down to find out more about the Summer styling tip that doesn’t date!

The Summer Styling Tip That Doesn’t Date!

The one styling tip that doesn’t date is about keeping things simple.

It’s a bit like food really. We are finally realising the less processed and more pure the food the better. The same can be said for fashion. In particular Summer styling.

Simple change in accessories

Choose your favourite Summer pieces, wear them as often as possible with a simple change in accessories.

So in this instance I’ve teamed up my new airy dress with orange pumps, a bag ( from Sarah Haran)  that tones in with the dress and jewellery ( by Olga Ribler) also in line with the dress.

Simple change in accessories

With a few simple accessory changes see how the same dress seems to take on a total new look. My favourite day time version…

Previously looking a little more dressy it’s a notch more casual now with flat slides, shopper (Atelier Avanzar) and chunky necklace also Atelier Avanazar)-

When it comes to accessories it’s a good idea to own a collection of items you love. You might not wear them one year but then the next you will want to again and worn with a purpose they will help make any outfit that little bit more special.

It may be too hot to wear layers of clothing in Summer but never too hot for a play with accessories!

Fun places to shop for accessories:

By Olga Ribler (even make custom designed jewellery with real stones)

Atelier Avanzar (bags and necklaces made by women in Ecuador, also supporting women in need and sick children)

Sarah Haran – for beautiful leather bags.
