Bright red is a colour that is certain to cause a reaction whenever you wear it. Partially due to the proven fact that red stimulates the brain.
However when it comes to actually wearing bright red the motions polarise. Many people are too conscious of sticking out of the crowd by wearing red. Others shy away as they feel the colour doesn’t suit them.
The good news is that there are tricks you can use when wearing red so that you will for sure look great. It is a colour that should be used to boost your confidence. Make a statement by wearing it with pride and saying to the world you are happy others are noticing you because you’re wearing red!
For 2025 one of the main secrets to successfully wearing bright red is to team it with shades of its burgundy ancestor. A combination that should be easy for many to put together as burgundy has been a hot colour for the past few seasons. I can almost guarantee that You too have at least one piece of burgundy in your closet.
Another hot combination for 2025 is to team bright red with leopard print. A long red pencil skirt with silky leopard print blouse and red pumps is a perfect day to night outfit. Alternatively try wearing a satin leopard print skirt with a comfy oversized red sweater and leopard print or red suede sneakers.
The most stunning way of all to wear bright red remains monochrome from top to toe. It takes courage to do this but is certainly worth the outcome!
