Why does packing for weekends away never get easier?
Writing this post I am having a good laugh at myself. Looking back at pre-blogging days life seemed more organised. I always knew what to pack for weekends away which made me realise sometimes we overthink things when the simple solution would really be the best one!
When preparing what to pack for a weekend away there are simply 2 key questions to ask yourself:
- What will I be doing?
- What will the weather be like?
The weather, especially at this time of year, can be very unpredictable. So the best solution is to take an outfit that allows for all sorts of weather. Keep reading for the perfect weekend away outfit idea!
The Perfect Weekend Away Outfit
Here you have it the “Perfect Weekend Away Outfit”. Quite simply a pair of stretch jeans, pretty top, sneakers and a water/wind resistant jacket. It may seem too simple for words but it’s an outfit you can wear whilst travelling – simply pack two additional tops plus underwear and depending on what else you have planned you could be set for an entire weekend away.
This jacket is perfect for Spring mountains as it’s lines with a certain thickness yet still lovely and light.
Love this easy stretch top that can be worn simply or adjusted to a more trendy off the shoulder look.
Not sure you can really see on the photo but the sneakers have a cute little shimmer to them, giving the outfit a tinge of subtle bling – smile!
Entire outfit available online at Jeans Fritz. With all 4 items coming to a total of Euro 123!
Photos taken in Andermatt – a beautiful Swiss mountain resort.
