Many years ago I bought myself a long belted blazer. Fully intending to wear it as a blazer over jeans and black trousers. Only each time I paired it with trousers it simply didn’t look right. This has now gotten a new life as permanently being worn as a dress with heels.
This Spring it seems like the opposite has almost happened. I recently got this cute sleeveless blazer dress, which I love wearing as a dress but it also looks great teamed with other items.

The Most Versatile Dress I Own
Last week we spent a fabulous 3 days celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary in Capri. Hand luggage only for me so I had to pack carefully as you can imagine.
This sleeveless blazer dress was literally a life saver. Worn one evening as is.
Note – styling tip – a cream sleeveless blazer dress like this one is best teamed up with bag and dress of a slightly different tone – whilst still so pale. Once my Sumer tan is there, teaming this dress with all cream will work much better.
I purposefully wore black sunglasses to bring a little contrast to the outfit.
Going through my wardrobe I found some old palazzo trousers which are so thin they fold down to almost nothing. Teamed with this blazer dress the outfit looks totally different but super easy vacation styling…
Going forward I’ll be teaming this blazer dress with denim shorts and sneakers and over a long floaty cream skirt of mine.
