Having just visited the amazing Christian Dior exhibition in Paris (more on that on blog soon), I guess it’s no wonder my next outfit post reminds me of his wonderful collections…
Don’t you just love this 1986 Dior suit!

The Dior Inspired Festive Season Suit
Dressing up for the festive season doesn’t always have to be about dresses. As soon as I saw this TopShop suit I seriously fell in love.
Quite different from normal party wear so I did run it past hubby first to check out his reaction. It passed!
I only took one bag with me to Paris – my FedsBruder one as it is big enough to also carry my camera – smile!
Teamed up with a white shoestring top here but I may stick to everything being black for wearing at nite.
These pictures were taken from the Trocadero in Paris – my all time favourite photo location!
It’s amazing how everyone sees things from a different perspective. Try it out yourself next time taking photos with a group of friends. Ask everyone to take a photo of the same thing. See how different each photo turns out!
Love the feather trim on both sleeves and pants. Not quite the same as those on the Dior suit shown above but similar enough for me!
Blazer – TopShop
Trousers – TopShop
Hat – BIG in Zurich
Stretch Fabric Boots – Zara
Bag – FredsBruder
Just for Fun
My dear Mum took these pictures. It was less than 5° with a super cool wind blowing so we took trial pictures with coat on.
Have a look at what really happened whilst trying to take pictures…
I decided she deserves a medal for the end result! Thanks Mum.
