Hi Everyone,
Here we have the last Paris Fashion Week Street Style report for this season. With looks spotted at the Chloe, Rabanne, Givenchy and Giambattista Valli shows.
Plenty of all black outfits spotted on the streets with bright red making a real statement here and there. It was interesting to note how burgundy seemed to taper out as the week evolved. The one colour that dominated the streets in Milan was hardly spotted in Paris.
Today we spot a couple of cute striped outfits at the Rabanne show – they did make me want to rush out and replicate – smile!
As a wrap up to Milan & Paris fashion weeks 4 main takeaways:
-
Fashion saving people
There is a lot of controversy about fashion and the over consumption, production and effect it has on the environment. However one must not forget the enjoy, pride and confidence it can give you if you use it properly.
This season was all about dressing beautifully, with utmost style. It was as though looking good is saving people from current affairs – a topic I won’t elaborate on here.
2. The uprise of emerging designers
Whilst reports may state the luxury fashion market is stabilising after a rocky 2024, it is noticeable that many fashionistas are supporting emerging brands rather than sticking to the big high class luxury labels.
This is particularly evident when it comes to bags and shoes.
3. Fur mania
Here I go again, but it is simply inevitable to notice how much fur/faux fur was spotted on the streets this season in both Milan and Paris. My prognosis is that it will be flooding the high street shops this coming Fall/Winter.
4. Back to the office
Just when we thought office wear would never again be needed and we could wear track suit pants everywhere, the whole comfort/grunge theme suddenly stops.
The suit is back to being number one on every fashionistas list! This also goes in line with the uprising trend of companies requesting their staff come back into the office.
