The 45 Best Street Style From Milan Fashion Week FW 2026 Days 1 & 2

Hi Everyone,

Day 2 Milan Fashion Week already over and I’m sitting here thinking what are the trends? The funny thing is that what strikes most is the long hair. No kidding, almost everyone seems to be growing their hair long this season!

Moving on to fashion, the exciting new trend has yet to come forth… there is, as always plenty of black with pastel shades also creeping through. One could almost say that black is the new colour this season. Nicely accessorised with a spot of colour – such as a lovely bright blue or pop of pink.

After many seasons of trying hard it looks like this season the fashion houses will have their way. The skimpy shorts/rompers have finally hit high street stores such as H&M and also of course to be spotted on the streets once again here in Milan. Will you wear them?

In line with the Pantone colour of 2026 there are also quite some pretty monochrome cloud outfits to be seen. Sneakers, whilst still worn by the rest of us, are certainly not a topic for the fashionistas out on the streets. Almost every one of them had heels. OK at least I’m happy to report that there were many kitten heels out there but all the same heels are certainly a must for 2026.

Is there an “It Bag” of the season? I do feel the move continues towards finding new sustainable bag creators, however at the same time Fendi made a big move toward presenting their peekaboo bag once more. Emphasising on bold bright colours to make up for much of their Pret-a-porter being black with black.
