Hi Everyone,
As Milan Fashion Week continues I sense a whole palette of different trends walking around. The number one rule being that every outfit is chic. There is no sign of grunge in this seasons Fashion Week. You certainly couldn’t go wrong by wearing a suit. With the coolest suit being this with knee length shorts.
I was super excited to spot Sharon Stone live this season – she looks so good!
Trend highlights:
This week a sea of teddy coats, with shades of pink, cream and camel rule the streets. Those cute short hot-pants are still hot on the scene. Although I have to add that I personally only ever seem to see them during fashion weeks. Afterwards the look seems to go undercover – wonder where they all go? Clubs?
Leather and suede are trends worth investing in. Both keep well and it really does look like this trend is a keeper for some time to come. That sheer skirt look remains with a new take. This season they are being worn with colourful tights. Speaking of colour, it’s interesting to note the pops of bold colour being introduced in several of the big fashion houses. Loving the new Prada green!
As mentioned in my first post of the week the big bag theme continues. When it comes to footwear I have seen some sneakers on the streets after all – so am feeling somewhat relieved about that. Otherwise I would say that cute pointy slingback are dominating fashion footwear right now.

Great shots! Especially love the woman on the stairs and that last pic!! 😍
Some fashion outfits are ridiculous and laughable, some are highly impractical but there are some gorgeous outfits too. Like the maxi skirt suit in black and white (third photo of this post)…wouldn’t I love to own that.
I agree with you on the shorts. Where do they go? I never see any in the streets. And neither the see-through tops or sheer tops as they are called nowadays.
Great photos Yvonne.
