Wow what a way to start Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2023 is just about all I can say. The fashion world has certainly woken up and is back in full force this season.

It’s all in the detail with plenty of statement gold jewellery to be seen. Note rose gold is out we are focusing on yellow gold once again. Black, black, black continues to be a theme. Spot the see-through dress trend. This is an interesting one!

On my favourite topic “ageism” is finally being addressed with the over 20 – 30 year old beautiful woman out there with bare midriff. Let me tell you that statement “mutton dressed as lamb” is one that should seriously be incarcerated as it certainly does not comply with the times!

The world has seen enough maxi and whilst it remains an item for the most part we see the short, short trend taking over. If you like blue hair it would seem now is the time to do it. Even I found myself contemplating a touch of blue next hairdresser visit. Wonder what Mr FunkyForty would have to say about that – smile!

If all else fails simply suit up – you can not go wrong with a suit. Oversized tailoring is the topic of the day but do keep the tracksuit pants at home!
