Pinstripes have been hitting the trend scene for a few years now, however mainly as a formal office suit. Spring 2018 sees a movement away from this. Particularly pinstriped trousers have become almost a must have in every womans’ wardrobe. The trick now is to style them in a more casual manor or wear fun paper-bag waisted pinstripe trousers – the choice is yours.

This post sees them styled with plain colours but a super hot trend is to combine any stripes, particularly pinstripes with florals.

Teaming up pinstriped trousers with a longer oversized trench is always a fun casual chic look. I added this new red MaxMara bag for a bit of a colour burst.

Simply have to show you a close up of these shoes. Look carefully and you will see the see-through plastic forming the front. This is one of the hottest shoe trends for 2018. Imagine, these shoes are celebrating their 20th Birthday this year!  I wanted to wear them on my wedding day. Unfortunately friends and family reacted in horror at the thought of black shoes with a pretty off white dress.  So a lovely cream pair of shoes were worn on the day.

For our 10th wedding anniversary I wore my wedding dress – photo of me trying it on again here. For our 20th – next week – I think I’ll stick to the shoes – haha!

I added a long sleeveless jacket to this look.  It gives the outfit that special touch.
