Heimlifeiss

Situated in Seefeld, I love going to Heimlifeiss due to the huge variety of colourful items. There is always something new to discover as the collection is constantly being enhanced and updated.

Heimlifeiss is the brainchild of Janine Taufer and Barbara Hardmeier. I love the story behind the start of it all. Janine and Barbara go back many years when they worked together and developed a long lasting friendship. Then Janine moved to Hong Kong for work. Despite no longer working together they always kept in contact.

One day Janine decided it was time to start something of her own. She phoned her dear friend Barbara and they tell me within 5 minutes they had already agreed on their store project, “Heimlifeiss”. Their vision being to create a space where customers could find unique, ethically produced home accessories that add a special touch to any living space.

Janine and Barbara pride themselves in supporting Swiss designers and offering a range of one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect the latest trends in home decor. Their commitment to sustainability and quality ensures that every purchase is not only beautiful but also responsible.
