This week has been a real rollercoaster weather wise. Starting the week in by coolest of Summer dresses and finishing off in jeans and long sleeves. A true sign that Fall 2021 is at our doorstep. However I’m not giving up on wearing pretty dresses without stockings just yet!

Pre Fall 2021 – 1 Dress 5 Ways to Style

1. Styled on it’s own with Summer slides for warmer days.

If you’re anything like me you like to start wearing the new season as soon as it appears in the shops. This is the perfect way to start wearing your new pre-Fall dress right now. Well at least on those days that seem like late Summer.

2. Styled with long cardigan and boots

Iv’e said it before and will say it again, Fall 2021 is the year of the chunky long knit cardigan. If you don’t already own one now is the time to get one.

3. Teamed up with chunky sweater and belt

The chunky sweater also features large this Fall. Save yourself from looking frumpy by adding a belt.

The trick is to wear the belt a little loosely for comfort but high enough to give a little waisted effect.

Note the beanie – this trend is carrying on from last Winter with vengeance!

4. Adopting a little Queen Elizabeth style

That slightly Royal touch with scarf worn over the head is a trend coming back again this Fall. Don’t knock it as something tells me this will be around for awhile.

5. Old style but good style

OK so we’ve all worn our dresses with sweater over the shoulder. These days I like to drape mine across one shoulder only for a bit of a funky look.

For maximum effect make sure the jumper you’re wearing over the shoulder is a real contrast in colour to your dress.

Note that wearing finer pointy booties and a small handbag give the whole look a slightly more feminine touch.
