Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 19 – Runway Highlights Part 2

Hi Everyone,

Having seen the Previous Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 19 Runway highlights part 1 (here), it’s now time to show you highlights from another 4 runway shows in Paris this season.

Each of these 4 shows is very individual in their own right. Starting with Each x Other showcasing a fabulously wearable collection. Shiatzy Chen, at first glance going for an ever more European theme. Anais Jourden showedย a mix between power suits and extreme feminine designs. Finishing off with the very avant-garde and nonsexual collection byย Jarel Zhang.

See whatโ€™s coming for Fall/Winter 2019.ย Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 19 – Runway Highlights Part 2.

Each x Other

Each x Other has a very cute story,ย created in 2012ย when fashion designer and entrepreneur Ilanย Delouis and artistic director and gallery owner Jenny Mannerheim met.ย The name โ€˜Each Otherโ€™ was directly inspired by a poem by the artistย Robert Montgomery.

The Fall/Winter 19 collection is so very wearable with classic chunky knits given an artistic touch such as this camel knit…

An obligatory touch of red featured along with faux fur coats and a new take on the classic suit.

Check out the current Spring 2019 collection available here.

Shiatzy Chen

I’ve been following the Taiwanese brand Shiatzy Chen for some time now. This season what at first glance looks like a somewhat European influenced collection has a lot ย more depth to it.

ย “The concept of deep affection adopted byย Design directorย Shiatzyย Chenย is derived from the image of the baby carrier (cloth used by mothers of the Miao tribe to carry children on their backs) extracted from tradition in an effort to convey the sharp edginess originating in oriental fashion”. โ€“ from Shiatzy Chen

Anais Jourden

This Fall collection played with a wonderful array of fabrics. Crushed coated lace, polished black PVC and faux-fur to name a few.

That feeling of feminine oozed out as we watched the models walk down the runway. If you ever needed a special sexy evening outfit this would have to be the designer to goto.

Anais Jourden is sold at key international retailers such as Nieman Marcus, Ikram, Shopbop, Lane Crawford and Joyce.

Jarel Zhang

Jarel Zhang has a very futuristic take on fashion. The Fall/Winter 19/20 collection is inspired by an interpretation of the new world shaped after world destruction.

It is in the brand’s DNA to blend philosophical ideas and life stories in fashion. You can really see this take shape in this seasons collection. Something suited to the human of the future.
